Sustainability Is Good for Business – and the Environment

Even before “the green revolution,” DSA made strides to use environmentally friendly materials and processes. Our plant operations are environmentally friendly. We use recycled water in our cooling processes and energy-efficient lighting in our manufacturing facilities. Nearly 100% of the units we manufacture are fabricated using recycled materials. Our wire, tube, steel, corrugated plastic and powder all come from recycled sources. In addition, DSA has a program in place to recycle excess materials once production is complete. Finally, even the displays we manufacture can be recycled at the end of their time in the market.

DSA also focuses on the environment in the evolution of our business practices. Email, file sharing and EDI have dramatically reduced the use of paper in day-to-day operations, and video conferencing has reduced travel.

Every day, our goal of improving sustainability means creating manufactured products that use processes that conserve energy and natural resources—and are safe for our employees, communities and consumers. To us, practicing sustainability means having respect for the environment, and we believe it is our social responsibility to do our part for both present and future generations.
